Published: 3/27/2011The CSR Litmus Test I have to admit that I sputter and stammer my way through the use of the term CSR and not because it's difficult to roll off the tongue. On the contrary, it flows so easily from the tongue that it has become a bit of a 'catch-all' as Gabe Chesman implies. My difficulty with the use of CSR is that it fails me. And the Porter Kramer position on CSV disappoints me. The 'corporate' focus is often used by SMEs to dismiss CSR from their vocabulary, claiming if it's corporate it must cost a lot of money and only be workable at the enterprise level. Well, the good news is that there's room for everyone in the responsibility tent - no exclusive club here.
